President Obama and his family visited Cuba this week. The Guardian (21 March 2016) drew potential parallels to the Berlin wall moment. In the 21st century, the people of a country can still suffer because the politics of the powerful doesn't fit the narrative each side wants. There are many examples of this around the world.
