Cognitive Psychology views perception as the outcome of the sensory information into our brains, married with stored information, mediated by attention. So, if we shift attention, it should change our perception. We know how our feelings change as our perception changes about the same situation. So why not try shifting attention around a few different places to let perceptions and hence feelings change naturally?
