Hi, I'm Nina Joshi Ramsey, and below is a little about me.
I am a writer, trainer, producer and coach. I actually started with a Computing and Business degree. That led me to software development and process auditing within technology, financial and banking institutions.
I found coding and solution-making creative and was able to implement and recommend optimal strategies. These led to options in banking or joining a graduate trainee scheme with a B2B 24/7 global news and financial information company. I was intrigued by the latter and went there.
After leading critical, high-stakes global technology projects, I headed a global projects group through a transformation programme. I enjoyed my work, including the coaching and mentoring.
Ultimately, when an opportunity arose for experimenting with alternative passions, I took it. I enjoyed writing, so travelled for field research and did a Creative Writing MA, starting a novel, Lifewalla, inspired by survivors of the worst industrial disaster.
My other writing includes a Penguin Decibel prize story, long-listings in international competitions and staged readings produced by theatre companies. I have delivered a private biography for a HNWI Industrialist. Currently, I am writing a sitcom pilot and a collaborative novel.
Complementing a PgDip in Psychology, I trained in various helping courses, including co-active coaching, EFT, NLP, Theta, Emotrance, and Reiki. I applied my knowledge and experience to 1-2-1 coaching, talks and workshops with organisations across the board. Currently, I am developing a series of e-courses.
My experience working with people ranges across corporate, freelance and voluntary work - including global leadership roles, curating and hosting local festival events, teaching in desert villages, co-ordinating earthquake rescue efforts, helpline listening and prisoner training. I gave stand-up comedy a go! Now I am sitting down.
I hope you enjoy the radio interviews, comedy, panel shows, meditation recordings, as you browse. Send any feedback you have. I look forward to having a chat with you. - NJR

'Cause let's face it ...
that's what really counts!
Some you win, some...not so much
...it's not all smooth sailing, but the highs make up for the lows in standup... at least they should!
The 5m set is on this page - your task is to find it!
